Artist Statement

 ARTIST STATEMENT

  My works are focused on the playfulness and enjoyment I experienced at a Lady Gaga concert. In the concert there were many people that were wearing colorful clothes with lighting accessories. Some were very over dressed. I danced like a crazy person and heard the banging sound of the music. The spotlights were shining brightly and that made the concert look amazing. Because my work is inspired by a concert, most of my drawings and paintings are colorful. Many bright tones are used and that represent how much I had fun at the concert but I also added some dark colors to make the works toned down. Many of my work feat sharp lines to represent the light of the concert.
